Folding Top Instructions
Folding Top Change During Production
There was a change to the top design at some point during Convertible D production, with an extra piece added on each side to prevent it from folding at the rain gutter split. The photo comparison below illustrates the difference. View a larger image showing the folding top change.

Every Convertible D came with a small folded brochure that gave specific instructions for how to open and close the folding top, which was significantly different than the Speedster top.
