Factory Photos | Owners' Vintage Photos | 2008 East Coast Holiday - Pennsylvania The East Coast Holiday in Lancaster, PA Sept. 4 - 7th was attended by 11 Convertible Ds and 30 D owners that I could personally count. Marti and Bruce Baker and their Holiday team gave us a great venue and a well planned event. They did a tremendous job coordinating approximately 550 guests and about 250 356s. Quite a feat! The ECH planning team had the foresight to separate the Convertible Ds from the Speedsters and Roadsters, creating three people's choice groups in the roadster body style, since so many had decided to attend. Considering that all of the Convertible Ds looked great and were really well presented, it was a difficult choice to pick a winner. However, Steve and Beth Gaddy from North Carolina who attended their first 356 Holiday emerged as the hands down favorite. They won "Best Of Class" of the Convertible Ds with their beautiful recently restored Ivory/red D with the green hardtop.
